Hotel on the Danube

Our hotel is located directly at the Danube, enclosed in the romantic Upper-Austrian Danube valley. It has the honor of bearing the same name as the village – Wesenufer Hotel & Seminarkultur at the Danube. This shows our appreciation and close relationship with the village.
The building's history goes back over 300 years. After a complete renovation in the year 2008, the building makes a great visual impact with its sleek modern spirit – a successful symbiosis of old and new.
In the year 2013, the hotel was extended with the new building "Donaublick" (view of the Danube) and the restoration of the commercial brewery building, which is a class listed monument.
Since October 1st, 2013, we now offer 49 hotel rooms.
Our attractive location offers many recreational activities, such as the Danube bicycle route or the Danube hiking trail, and is an ideal starting point for trips to several nearby places of interest.
Our hotel is the only one in Austria that integrates active social work in a top-level provision of services.
People with psychological and social impairment only rarely have a lobby. Having the opportunity of being a part of the society offers them the chance of giving to the society and receiving something back. Depending on the severity of their illness, a person can again be a part of society through employment and therapeutic intervention. For us, this is trained practice in all areas.
